Golf in Monterey Park

Monterey Park is a city in Los Angeles County in the western San Gabriel Valley, east of downtown Los Angeles and adjacent to Alhambra and Rosemead. The city has a large concentration of Chinese-American residents and is considered a gateway city for Chinese and Taiwanese immigrants to the region. Los Angeles County's inner San Gabriel Valley cities, including Monterey Park, have been centers of Asian-American community life since the 1970s. The city has a commercial district along Garvey Avenue and Atlantic Boulevard with a concentration of Chinese, Taiwanese, and other Asian businesses and restaurants. Interstate 10 provides freeway access. The city has a dense, urban residential character consistent with the inner San Gabriel Valley.
