Golf in Newport Beach

Newport Beach is a city in Orange County on the Pacific coast, south of Costa Mesa and north of Laguna Beach. The city encompasses Newport Harbor, one of the largest recreational small-craft harbors in the country, along with a series of bay-side communities on the peninsulas and islands within the harbor. Orange County's coastal communities include Newport Beach as one of the most affluent, with high real estate values and an economy centered on finance, real estate, and technology alongside tourism. The Balboa Peninsula extends along the ocean side of Newport Bay, and Balboa Island provides a concentrated residential village in the bay. Pacific Coast Highway and Newport Boulevard provide the main road connections. Fashion Island is the main retail hub.
