Golf in Costa Mesa

Costa Mesa is a city in Orange County adjacent to Newport Beach, between the Pacific coast and the inland freeway corridor. The city occupies flat terrain in central Orange County, near the mouth of the Santa Ana River and the Newport Bay. Orange County's South Coast Plaza, one of the highest-volume retail centers in the country, is in Costa Mesa and draws shoppers from the broader Southern California region. The Segerstrom Center for the Arts is a major performing arts venue in the city. The residential portions of Costa Mesa include diverse neighborhoods east and north of the commercial corridor. Newport Beach is immediately to the south, and the Pacific coast is accessible via the Newport-Costa Mesa corridor. State Route 55 and Interstate 405 provide the main freeway connections.
