Golf in Pacoima

Pacoima is a neighborhood in the city of Los Angeles in the northeast San Fernando Valley, north of Van Nuys and south of Sylmar. The neighborhood occupies flat valley terrain in the northeastern portion of the San Fernando Valley, adjacent to the freeway interchanges where Interstate 5 and Interstate 210 meet. Los Angeles's northeast valley neighborhoods, including Pacoima and Arleta, are in the northern end of the San Fernando Valley residential zone. The neighborhood has commercial areas along Van Nuys Boulevard and San Fernando Road. Pacoima has a predominantly Latino population with a large immigrant community from Mexico and Central America. The neighborhood has been the focus of various community revitalization initiatives in recent years.
