Golf in Sunland

Sunland is a neighborhood in the city of Los Angeles in the northeast San Fernando Valley, in the foothills at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains and the Verdugo Hills. The neighborhood occupies foothill terrain at the eastern end of the San Fernando Valley, where the valley transitions to the mountain terrain of the Angeles National Forest. Los Angeles's northeast valley neighborhoods, including Sunland and Tujunga, are in the foothill zone adjacent to the Crescenta Valley. The neighborhood has a commercial area along Foothill Boulevard and residential streets extending into the lower mountain terrain. The Sunland-Tujunga area has a semi-rural foothill character compared to the more densely developed flat portions of the San Fernando Valley.
