Golf in San Bernadino

San Bernardino is the county seat of San Bernardino County and a main city in the Inland Empire, in the San Bernardino Valley at the base of the San Bernardino Mountains. The city sits at roughly 1,050 feet elevation where Interstate 10 and Interstate 215 intersect in the heart of the Inland Empire. San Bernardino County's administrative and judicial functions are concentrated in San Bernardino, and the city has a commercial and retail base along the main corridors. California State University San Bernardino is a significant educational employer. The San Bernardino Mountains, including the resort communities at Big Bear Lake, are accessible north of the city via State Routes 18 and 138. The city has undertaken revitalization efforts following a 2012 municipal bankruptcy.
