Fontana is a city in San Bernardino County in the Inland Empire, west of San Bernardino and east of Rancho Cucamonga along Interstate 10. The city is one of the larger cities in San Bernardino County and has a substantial industrial and residential base. Kaiser Steel operated a large steel mill in Fontana for several decades, and the site has since been partially redeveloped into commercial and industrial uses. San Bernardino County's Inland Empire cities, including Fontana, have seen growth in logistics, distribution, and e-commerce fulfillment.
