Golf in Arcadia

Arcadia is a city in Los Angeles County in the San Gabriel Valley, northeast of El Monte and south of the San Gabriel Mountains. The city is home to Santa Anita Park, a horse racing facility that has operated since the 1930s, and the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden, which occupies a significant portion of the city. Los Angeles County's San Gabriel Valley cities, including Arcadia and Monrovia, have a suburban residential and commercial character. The city has high housing values and an affluent residential base. The Westfield Santa Anita shopping center provides regional retail. Interstate 210 passes through the northern portion of the city, providing freeway access. The city has a substantial Asian-American population.
