Arcadia is a city in Los Angeles County in the San Gabriel Valley, northeast of El Monte and south of the San Gabriel Mountains. The city is home to Santa Anita Park, a horse racing facility that has operated since the 1930s, and the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden, which occupies a significant portion of the city.
