Golf in Tracy

Tracy is a city in San Joaquin County in the northern San Joaquin Valley, west of Stockton near the Interstate 580 and Interstate 205 junction. The city is at the eastern edge of the Bay Area commuter zone and has grown dramatically in recent decades as a bedroom community for workers commuting west toward the Bay Area and east toward Stockton and Sacramento. San Joaquin County's western communities, including Tracy, have seen substantial residential development as Bay Area housing values have pushed workers further east. The local economy includes distribution and logistics operations at the major freeway junction, along with retail and services for the growing residential base. Tracy has grown from a small agricultural town into a substantial suburban city with extensive residential development and a growing commercial district.
