Golf in Manteca

Manteca is a city in San Joaquin County in the northern San Joaquin Valley, south of Stockton along State Route 99. The city has grown substantially in recent decades as a residential destination for Bay Area and Central Valley workers seeking inexpensive housing with freeway access. San Joaquin County's communities south of Stockton, including Manteca, have been among the faster-growing areas in the county. The city has a growing commercial and industrial base, including distribution and logistics operations near major freeway interchanges. State Route 120 intersects the city and provides east-west access to Interstate 5 to the west and toward Modesto and the Sierra Nevada foothills to the east. The city has a compact downtown and an expanding suburban footprint.
