Golf in Upland

Upland is a city in San Bernardino County in the western Inland Empire, east of Claremont and west of Rancho Cucamonga along Interstate 10. The city occupies foothill terrain at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains in the Pomona Valley, where the mountains rise from the flat valley floor. San Bernardino County's western foothill cities, including Upland and Claremont, have a character shaped by proximity to the dramatic mountain front immediately to the north. Upland has a traditional downtown on Second Avenue and a residential character that includes older neighborhoods dating to the citrus era. The Euclid Avenue corridor, one of the wider formally landscaped boulevards in Southern California, runs from the downtown area north toward the mountain base. Interstate 10 provides the main freeway connection.
