Golf in Yosemite Lakes

Yosemite Lakes is a residential community in Madera County in the Sierra Nevada foothills, in the corridor between Fresno and the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park. The community sits at roughly 2,000 to 2,500 feet elevation in the western foothills of the Sierra, in terrain covered by mixed oak and foothill pine woodland. Madera County's foothill communities along this corridor have grown as a secondary residence market for Bay Area and Central Valley residents seeking mountain proximity. The community is a planned residential development with its own internal amenities and governance. Highway 41 runs north from Fresno through this part of Madera County toward the Yosemite southern entrance. The Fresno River and other seasonal streams drain the foothill terrain in this portion of the county. The surrounding national forest lands provide additional open space north and east of the community.
