Golf in Fargo

Fargo is a small community in Clinch County in extreme south Georgia near the Okefenokee Swamp, one of the most remote communities in the state. Clinch County lies along the Suwannee River where it flows out of the Okefenokee and heads south toward Florida, and the river gives the local golf course its name. The community serves the sparse population of one of Georgia's most rural and sparsely settled counties, in a landscape of pine flatwoods, wetlands, and river swamp characteristic of the far south Georgia coastal plain.
