Golf in Folkston

Folkston is the county seat of Charlton County in the far southeastern corner of Georgia, adjacent to the Okefenokee Swamp. Charlton County is one of the most rural and sparsely populated counties in Georgia, with much of its territory within the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. The town is known among railroad enthusiasts as a prime train-watching location due to a heavily trafficked CSX freight corridor, and the Okefenokee's Stephen C. Foster State Park entrance provides access to the vast swamp wilderness.
