Golf in Amesbury

Amesbury sits in the upper Merrimack River valley in Essex County, near the New Hampshire border north of Newburyport. Amesbury Golf and Country Club serves a community that is more rural and upland in character than the coastal Essex County towns to the south, in terrain where the Merrimack's north bank rises toward the northern hills.
