Golf in Rangeley

Rangeley is a western Maine lake and mountain community in the Rangeley Lakes region of Franklin County, set at over 1,500 feet elevation amid a chain of interconnected lakes — Rangeley, Mooselookmeguntic, Cupsuptic, Richardson, and others — legendary among fly fishers for their brook trout and landlocked salmon populations. The Rangeley Lakes Trail Center provides winter cross-country skiing, and the summer brings hikers, paddlers, and anglers. Two golf facilities serve Rangeley: the nine-hole Evergreen Golf Club and the 18-hole Mingo Springs Golf Course, both operating in a high-elevation setting where the foliage arrives early and the fishing is always the stronger draw.
