Golf in Grosse Pointe Woods

Grosse Pointe Woods is the northernmost of the five Grosse Pointe communities on Lake St. Clair, an incorporated city whose character reflects the slightly more recent development of the northern Pointe neighborhoods compared to the older estate character of Grosse Pointe Farms and Shores. Like its sister communities, Grosse Pointe Woods is part of the historically affluent enclave that formed as Detroit's automotive elite established residences along the Lake St. Clair shoreline in the early and mid-twentieth century.
