Golf in Wolverine

Wolverine is a small Cheboygan County village in the Pigeon River Country of the northern Lower Peninsula, a community in one of Michigan's most significant natural areas—the Pigeon River State Forest and the Elk Herd Range that supports Michigan's free-roaming elk population. The elk herd, reintroduced to Michigan in 1918, has grown to be one of the largest free-ranging herds east of the Rockies, and the Pigeon River Country is a destination for elk viewing alongside hunting and fishing.
