Golf in Concord

Concord is the county seat of Cabarrus County, in the northeastern Charlotte metropolitan area. The city is adjacent to Charlotte and Kannapolis along the U.S. 29 and I-85 corridors northeast of the city, and has grown significantly as the Charlotte metro has expanded. Cabarrus County is home to Concord Mills, one of the largest malls in the Southeast, and the Charlotte Motor Speedway, which anchors the NASCAR community in the Concord-Kannapolis area. Concord's position just northeast of Charlotte has made it one of the Charlotte metro's significant suburban cities.
