Golf in Cornelius

Cornelius is a town in northern Mecklenburg County, on the southern shore of Lake Norman. The community is one of four incorporated towns in the Lake Norman corridor of northern Mecklenburg County, along with Huntersville, Davidson, and Mooresville in Iredell County to the north. Cornelius's position on Lake Norman has made it part of the growing northern Mecklenburg suburban zone that has expanded dramatically as Charlotte's population has extended northward. The lake community character of Cornelius distinguishes it from Charlotte's denser urban core.
