Golf in Huntersville

Huntersville is a large town in northern Mecklenburg County, on the southern shore of Lake Norman. The town has grown into one of the Charlotte metro's principal northern suburbs along the U.S. 21 and I-77 corridors north of the city. Lake Norman's shoreline in Huntersville has attracted both residential and recreational development, and the town's combination of lake access, Charlotte metro proximity, and quality of life has made it one of the more popular destinations in northern Mecklenburg County. Huntersville is home to Birkdale Village, a major mixed-use development, and hosts several of the Lake Norman area's golf facilities.
