Golf in Roaring Gap

Roaring Gap is a community in Alleghany County, on the Blue Ridge plateau in the northwestern NC mountains. The community is at about 3,000 feet elevation on the Blue Ridge, between the North Carolina Piedmont below and the high mountain terrain above, in the plateau area of Alleghany County near the Virginia border. Roaring Gap has been a summer resort community since the late nineteenth century, offering the plateau's cooler climate and mountain scenery. The Roaring Gap Club and Olde Beau Resort serve the mountain resort community in Alleghany County.
