Golf in Logan

1 golf course in Logan, New Mexico.

Logan is a small Harding County community near Ute Lake State Park in northeastern New Mexico at roughly 3,900 feet on the high plains, one of the more remote recreation destinations in a state not short of remote places. The Canadian River was dammed in the 1960s to create Ute Lake, transforming this isolated high-plains community into a destination for fishing, boating, and camping that draws visitors from eastern New Mexico and the Texas Panhandle. 12 Shores Golf Course provides recreational golf adjacent to the park, serving a visitor population that comes primarily for the water recreation and uses golf as a complementary activity. Harding County is among the least populated counties in New Mexico, giving Logan an outsized recreational infrastructure relative to its permanent population.
