Golf in Glenbrook

Glenbrook is a private residential enclave on the eastern shore of Lake Tahoe in Douglas County, one of Nevada's most exclusive communities. The settlement dates to the nineteenth century as a Tahoe resort; today it is gated and residential, accessible only to property owners and their guests. Glenbrook Club's nine-hole par-35 course exists within this context — a members-only recreational amenity in a setting of extraordinary natural beauty, where Lake Tahoe's famously clear water and the Sierra Nevada's granite peaks form the constant backdrop. Golf here is less about competition than about place: nine holes through pine forest at 6,200 feet, with the lake visible on several stretches of the routing.
