Golf in Washoe Valle

Washoe Valley sits between Reno and Carson City along the US-395 corridor, a high-desert basin at roughly 4,700 feet that serves as the geographic transition between the two cities. The Washoe Valley is wide, open, and framed by the Virginia Range to the east and the Sierra Nevada to the west — a landscape defined by the horizontal scale characteristic of Nevada's best interior terrain. Toiyabe Golf Club at par 72 and Montreux Golf Course both occupy the valley, providing golf experiences defined as much by the open space and mountain backdrops as by the courses themselves.
