Golf in Cleburne

Cleburne is the county seat of Johnson County south of Fort Worth, a mid-size city in the Cross Timbers terrain on the Nolan River. Cleburne has a well-preserved courthouse square and downtown district in the Cross Timbers country south of the Metroplex. The community serves as the commercial center of Johnson County, where cattle, peaches, and grain farming define the rural character. Johnson County is in the transition zone between the Blackland Prairie to the east and the Edwards Plateau terrain to the west, with cedar, live oak, and mesquite on the gently varied Cross Timbers terrain.
