Golf in Gardendale

Gardendale is a small community in Ector County north of Odessa in the Permian Basin, an area that has seen growth with the oil field activity in the Midland-Odessa area. Ector County is at the heart of the Permian Basin's Delaware Basin production zone, and Gardendale and north Odessa have developed as residential areas for oil field workers commuting to the active production areas. The flat terrain of the Permian Basin at roughly 2,900 feet elevation has caliche soils, mesquite, and the characteristic arid landscape of west Texas. Ector County and the surrounding Permian Basin counties have experienced significant population fluctuation tied to oil markets. One course serves the Gardendale community in the flat terrain of the Permian Basin.
