Golf in Crane

Crane is the county seat of Crane County in the Permian Basin of west Texas, a small oil-production community in the flat basin terrain west of Midland. Crane County is sparsely populated and economically dependent on the oil and gas production from the Permian Basin formations beneath the flat, caliche-dominated landscape. The flat terrain of Crane County sits at roughly 2,500 feet elevation in the Chihuahuan Desert margin, with minimal surface water and a dry climate.
