Golf in Mesquite

Mesquite is a mid-size city in southeastern Dallas County, one of the major eastern Metroplex suburban communities along the I-30 corridor east of Dallas. The city is well known for the Mesquite Rodeo, the long-running professional indoor rodeo in the Metroplex area, which has operated for decades and draws large crowds. The community has a diverse residential population and a significant manufacturing and industrial base alongside the suburban residential development. The I-30 corridor east of Dallas through Mesquite connects the eastern Metroplex to Rockwall, Greenville, and points east. Eastern Dallas County has the Blackland Prairie clay soils and flat to gently varied terrain typical of the east Metroplex suburban zone. The community is approximately 12 miles east of downtown Dallas and is served by multiple DART light rail stations. One course serves the Mesquite community in the flat Blackland Prairie terrain of southeastern Dallas County.
