Golf in Hallettsville

Hallettsville is the county seat of Lavaca County in the Coastal Bend inland region of south Texas, a small agricultural community on the Lavaca River. The area is known for its Kolache Festival, reflecting the Czech heritage of many central Texas communities that were settled by Czech and German immigrants in the nineteenth century. Lavaca County is an agricultural county with cattle, cotton, and grain as the main products, in the flat to gently varied terrain of the south Texas coastal plain. The Lavaca River flows to Lavaca Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. One course serves the Hallettsville community in the gently varied terrain of the Coastal Bend inland region.
