Golf in Yoakum

Yoakum is the county seat of DeWitt County in the Coastal Bend inland region of south Texas, a small agricultural community known for leather goods craftsmanship and the annual Tom Tom Festival celebrating the area's heritage. DeWitt County has a connection to the cattle drives of the post-Civil War era and is in the transition zone between the Hill Country drainage and the flat coastal plain. The Guadalupe River runs through DeWitt County on its way to the coast, and the river valley provides some topographic relief in the otherwise gently varied coastal terrain.
