Golf in Hearne

Hearne is a small city in Robertson County in the Brazos Valley, a railroad junction town on the edge of the Brazos River drainage. The community grew as an important rail junction in the Texas and Pacific Railroad era and has a connection to the cattle and agricultural economy of the Brazos Valley. Robertson County is in the agricultural country between Waco and Bryan-College Station, with cotton, grain, and cattle on the flat to gently varied terrain of the Brazos Valley margins. The Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railroad (Katy) had significant operations in Hearne. One course serves the Hearne community in the flat to gently varied terrain of the Brazos River drainage.
