Golf in Temple

Temple is a city in Bell County in central Texas near Fort Cavazos, a major healthcare hub anchored by Baylor Scott & White Health, one of the largest not-for-profit hospital systems in Texas. The healthcare sector is the dominant employer in Temple, with the Scott & White hospital and its affiliated medical campus drawing patients from a broad region of central Texas. Temple is also a railroad city—it began as a railroad division point—and the Union Pacific rail infrastructure remains significant. Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood) is approximately 15 miles to the west, and the military community contributes to the Bell County economy.
