Golf in Hallsburg

Hallsburg is a small community in eastern McLennan County on the Bosque River drainage east of Waco, in the post oak and Cross Timbers terrain at the boundary between the Blackland Prairie and the East Texas timber country. McLennan County is centered on Waco and Baylor University, and the eastern portions of the county transition to the more forested post oak savanna terrain. The community is in the rural eastern McLennan County agricultural landscape, away from the main Waco urban area. The Bosque River and its tributaries drain to the Brazos River system in this part of central Texas. One course serves this small community in the post oak terrain of eastern McLennan County.
