Golf in Holly Lake Ranch

Holly Lake Ranch is a gated residential community in Wood County east of Tyler in the East Texas Piney Woods, developed around Holly Lake. The community attracts retirees and second-home owners to the lake and golf setting in the pine and hardwood forest of East Texas. Wood County is in the deep Piney Woods, and Holly Lake Ranch is in the eastern portion of the county near the Upshur County border. The pine and hardwood forest, the lake recreation, and the golf course serve as the primary amenities for this membership community. The community is approximately 80 miles east of Dallas on the US 80 corridor. One course serves the Holly Lake Ranch membership.
