Golf in Little Elm

Little Elm is a city on the north shore of Lake Lewisville in northern Denton County, one of the communities that has grown dramatically as residential development has expanded north along the Dallas North Tollway corridor. The lake access and the proximity to the Frisco and Plano employment zones have driven significant growth, and the city has developed from a small lake community into a substantial suburban city in a short period. Lake Lewisville's north shore has attracted lakefront and near-water residential development, and the community has extensive parks and trails along the lake. The Denton County terrain above the lake has gently varied topography with post oak and prairie grasses on the well-drained uplands. Little Elm is approximately 30 miles north of downtown Dallas and is served by the Dallas North Tollway's northern extension. One course serves the Little Elm community in the northern Denton County terrain near Lake Lewisville.
