Golf in Muleshoe
1 golf course in Muleshoe, Texas.
Muleshoe is the county seat of Bailey County on the Texas South Plains near the New Mexico border, in the cotton-farming country of the flat Llano Estacado. The city is at roughly 3,700 feet elevation in a semi-arid region dependent on the Ogallala Aquifer for the irrigation that makes cotton and grain production possible in this otherwise dry environment. Bailey County is one of the agricultural counties of the Texas South Plains adjacent to the New Mexico border, with a small population primarily dependent on agriculture. The National Mule Memorial in Muleshoe pays tribute to the mule's role in the farming economy of the pre-mechanization era. The flat terrain of the Llano Estacado extends unbroken in all directions, with occasional playas and irrigated field circles visible across the landscape. The community is approximately 80 miles northwest of Lubbock. One course serves the Muleshoe community in the flat, semi-arid terrain of the South Plains.
