Golf in Timberwood Park

Timberwood Park is a community in northwest Bexar County in the Hill Country fringe north of San Antonio, home to the TPC San Antonio resort complex at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort. The two TPC San Antonio courses—the AT&T Canyons Course and the Oaks Course—host the PGA Tour's Valero Texas Open annually and represent the most prominent golf resort infrastructure in the San Antonio area. The limestone canyon and cedar terrain of the Edwards Plateau edge gives TPC San Antonio a distinctive Hill Country character, with elevation changes unusual for San Antonio area courses. The northwest Bexar County corridor has seen significant resort and residential growth as San Antonio has expanded outward. Three courses serve the Timberwood Park community in the limestone canyon and cedar terrain of the Edwards Plateau edge.
