Golf in Willow Park

Willow Park is a small city in Parker County west of Fort Worth along the I-20 corridor, in the Cross Timbers terrain of eastern Parker County. The community has grown as Fort Worth's western suburbs have expanded along the I-20 corridor into Parker County, attracting residential development to the cedar and oak terrain west of the main Metroplex. Eastern Parker County along the I-20 corridor has developed as a suburban residential zone for Fort Worth workers who prefer a more rural setting. The Cross Timbers terrain has cedar, live oak, and the typical gently varied topography of the transition between the Fort Worth prairie and the more open west Texas country. Two courses serve the Willow Park and west Parker County area in the Cross Timbers terrain.
