Golf in Goliad
1 golf course in Goliad, Texas.
Goliad is the county seat of Goliad County in the Coastal Bend of south Texas, one of the oldest European settlements in Texas. The Presidio La Bahía is one of the well-preserved Spanish colonial military forts in North America, and Mission Espíritu Santo preserves the mission complex associated with the fort. The Goliad Massacre site, where hundreds of Texas prisoners of war were executed during the Texas Revolution in 1836, is memorialized here, making it a significant destination in Texas. The San Antonio River flows through Goliad, providing water in the transition zone between the South Texas brush country and the Coastal Bend prairie. One course serves this small community on the San Antonio River.
