East Basin is a Summit County designation for the high-elevation terrain east of Park City where the Promontory Club's private golf complex is situated. The area sits at around 6,500 feet in a landscape of sagebrush, native grasses, and high desert vegetation between mountain ridges, with broad views across Summit County's terrain in every direction. The Promontory Club development encompasses multiple designer courses — a Jack Nicklaus Signature layout, a Pete Dye course, and The Hills Course — along with thousands of acres of private community land. East Basin's remoteness from commercial development gives the club a sense of genuine seclusion unusual even among exclusive private clubs. Membership access only.
