Golf in Interlaken
1 golf course in Interlaken, Utah.
Interlaken is a small community in Heber Valley near Midway, named in the Swiss tradition that characterizes several Wasatch County communities settled by Swiss immigrants in the nineteenth century. The Midway-Interlaken corridor holds Wasatch Mountain State Park's golf complex — the largest state park in Utah — where 36 holes of mountain golf spread through aspen-lined meadows on the park's lower terrain. The area is known for the Homestead Crater, a volcanic hot spring accessible through a tunnel, and the annual Swiss Days celebration in Midway that draws visitors from across the Wasatch Front. Heber Valley's elevation keeps summer temperatures mild relative to the Salt Lake Valley below.
