Golf in Heber

Heber City is the seat of Wasatch County in Heber Valley, a broad mountain basin framed by the Wasatch Range to the west and the Uinta foothills to the east. The valley sits at around 5,600 feet and has long attracted visitors for its alpine character and proximity to both Park City and Sundance. The Heber Creeper, a historic steam railroad that runs through the valley, is a tourist draw, and Strawberry Reservoir to the southeast is one of Utah's top fishing destinations. Red Ledges and Soldier Hollow — both within close reach of Heber City — make Wasatch County one of Utah's most golf-dense mountain counties by total holes per resident.
