Golf in Casper

Casper is Wyoming's second-largest city and the economic capital of its oil and gas industry, a community on the North Platte River in Natrona County that has experienced multiple boom-bust cycles tied to energy prices. The National Historic Trails Center interprets the Oregon, California, and Mormon Pioneer trails that crossed the North Platte at Casper in the nineteenth century, and Casper Mountain provides skiing, hiking, and outdoor recreation immediately south of the city.
