Auburn Valley Golf Club

Auburn Valley Golf Club sits in Lake of the Pines, a planned residential community in the western Sierra Nevada foothills of Placer County northeast of Auburn. Lake of the Pines is a gated residential community centered around a man-made lake in the foothill terrain above the American River canyon, in the lower elevation zone of the Sierra Nevada between the Auburn city core and the higher foothills toward Nevada City and Grass Valley. The community is in the pine-oak woodland terrain typical of the western Sierra foothills at elevations between 1,000 and 2,000 feet, accessible via Highways 49 and 20.
