Bayonet Golf Course

Bayonet Golf Course sits in coastal, a city adjacent to Monterey on the northern portion of the Monterey Peninsula. coastal occupies the inland flatlands of the peninsula, outside the coastal fog zone of the ocean-adjacent communities but within the same mild Central Coast climate. The Bayonet course shares the former Fort Ord military base terrain with the adjacent Black Horse course, on land transitioning from military use to residential and recreational development since Fort Ord closed in 1994. The course occupies the inland portion of the peninsula among the pines and dunes of the coastal terrain.
