La Contenta Lakes Golf is a golf facility in Valley Springs, a small community in Calaveras County in the Sierra Nevada foothills at the edge of the Camanche Reservoir area. Valley Springs is positioned on the foothill terrain between the flat San Joaquin Valley to the west and the gold rush towns of Angels Camp and San Andreas to the east, in the lower foothills of the county.
