Olympic Club Lake Course

The Olympic Club Lake Course sits in San Francisco's Sunset District near the Lake Merced area, in the southwestern portion of the city near the San Francisco-San Mateo County border. The Olympic Club is one of the oldest athletic clubs in the United States, and its golf courses have hosted multiple US Open tournaments. The Lake Course is the primary primary tournament layout, occupying the coastal fog-zone terrain of western San Francisco where the influence of the Pacific Ocean shapes playing conditions year-round.
