Weed Golf Club sits in Weed, a small city in Siskiyou County at the foot of Mount Shasta along Interstate 5 in the far north of California. Weed is positioned in the upper Sacramento River valley at roughly 3,400 feet of elevation, where the valley floor narrows between Mount Shasta to the east and the Cascade foothills to the west.
