Golf in Apple Valley

Apple Valley is a town in San Bernardino County in the Mojave Desert, in the High Desert area north of the San Bernardino Mountains. The community occupies flat desert terrain at roughly 2,900 feet elevation in the Victor Valley, adjacent to Victorville. San Bernardino County's High Desert communities, including Apple Valley, Victorville, Hesperia, and Adelanto, form a growing urban cluster in the desert basin north of Cajon Pass. The town has grown substantially in recent decades as a less expensive residential alternative to communities in the Los Angeles Basin, with Interstate 15 providing freeway access over Cajon Pass to the south. The local economy includes retail, healthcare, and services for the growing residential population. The town is primarily residential and suburban in character.
